The overlords serve as lords of the clans territorial holdings. Part governor, part general, they manage the affairs of massive geographic areas. It falls to the oderlords to appoint worthy and capable warlords, and the coordinate the efforts of often thousands of packs spread across countless miles of territory. Within the hierarchy of the clan, an overlord is the highest legal authority.
The overlord can appoint and remove warlords, generals, majors and lower-ranking officers.

As with lower-ranking Sect officers, the overlord must be able to ensure a strong, stable and reliable chain of command within his territory. With the authority to rewrite the power structure of entire cities, the overlord commands both great power and great responsibility
